Biometrics are used to identify the input sample when compared
to a template, used in cases to identify specific people by certain characteristics.
This definition can be a little confusing,
but when you get right down to it...
Biometrics is the study of humans.
And the various tools that come with Biometrics can astound
and confuse, no doubt.
But, Biometrics is a way to classify humans.
From their fingerprints, voice, smell, eye color,
signature, ect.
Biometrics, in a way, can be good...and bad, it all depends on who you are.
For instance, if you were
a criminal, it would be...bad, no doubt to have these biometrics hounding you.
Just by touching something could land you
in a heap of mess if the detectives were to collect your prints, and find you out.
In other cases though, if you were in
a business, and you were say, the CEO, and you had very important documents and what not...
Then by signing in getting
access to the building by using your fingerprints, voice, signature, only...then only you could get in, and no one would be
able to break into your personal things.
